🧀 Comfort Cheese Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small round bread base or fresh dough
  • cups mozzarella cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced or powder
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of black pepper optional
  • Fresh parsley or herbs finely chopped (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place the bread base on a baking tray or stone.
  3. Lightly brush the surface with olive oil and butter.
  4. Sprinkle garlic evenly across the top.
  5. Cover generously with grated mozzarella.
  6. Season lightly with salt and a pinch of black pepper.
  7. Bake for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and the edges turn golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 1–2 minutes.
  9. Finish with chopped parsley if using.
