Cajun Butter Turkey

This is my husband’s favorite. It’s smoky, spicy, and full of southern warmth.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole turkey 12–14 lbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Method
 

  1. Mix melted butter with all the spices and lemon juice.
  2. Rub the turkey generously with this spicy butter mix, making sure to get under the skin.
  3. Preheat your Big Easy fryer.
  4. Cook for 8–10 minutes per pound until golden and crisp.
  5. For extra flavor, baste the turkey again halfway through cooking.

Notes

The outside becomes a smoky, flavorful crust while the inside stays unbelievably juicy. Perfect for game nights or backyard cookouts.
