Cozy Tomato Basil Pasta

Soft noodles, warm tomatoes, and fragrant basil.

Ingredients
  

  • Pasta
  • 200 g pasta
  • Salt for water
  • Sauce
  • 2 ripe tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili flakes optional
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Seasoning
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Boil Pasta
  2. Bring salted water to boil.
  3. Add pasta.
  4. Cook until al dente (follow package time minus 1 minute).
  5. Step 2: Prepare Sauce
  6. Heat olive oil in a pan.
  7. Add garlic; sauté slowly for 40 seconds.
  8. Add chopped tomatoes; cook until they completely collapse.
  9. Add tomato sauce and seasonings.
  10. Simmer 10–12 minutes on low.
  11. Add fresh basil at the end.
  12. Step 3: Combine
  13. Add cooked pasta to sauce.
  14. Toss gently to coat every noodle.
