Easy Cupcakes with Plain Flour

Ingredients
  

  • cups plain flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup oil or melted butter
  • teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • A pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a cupcake tray with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix plain flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil or butter, and vanilla essence.
  4. Mix gently until just combined and smooth.
  5. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full.
  6. Bake until cupcakes rise and spring back when lightly touched.
  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before serving or frosting.
