Leftover Brisket Grilled Cheese Melt

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices sourdough or white sandwich bread
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or provolone cheese
  • ½ cup chopped leftover brisket
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Optional: caramelized onions BBQ sauce drizzle

Method
 

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  2. On the unbuttered side, layer cheese, brisket, and caramelized onions if you like.
  3. Top with the second slice, buttered side out.
  4. Grill on a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  5. For extra flavor, drizzle a touch of BBQ sauce inside before closing the sandwich.
