Olive Oil Bread Without Yeast or Baking Soda

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¾ cup warm water add more if needed
  • Optional: rosemary thyme, garlic powder, chili flakes

Method
 

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add olive oil and combine.
  3. Slowly pour warm water while mixing to form a soft dough.
  4. Cover and rest for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Divide dough into small balls.
  6. Flatten each ball into round discs.
  7. Brush both sides with olive oil.
  8. Heat a non-stick pan on medium.
  9. Cook each flatbread until golden spots appear.
  10. Flip and cook the other side.
  11. Brush with extra olive oil before serving.
  12. Serve warm with herbs, dips, or soup.

Notes

  • Add herbs to dough for more flavor.
  • Make thicker for soft bread, thinner for crisp bread.
  • Store wrapped in a cloth for 1 day or freeze for later.
