Soft-Heat Chicken Curry

Warm spices, tender chicken, gentle comfort.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g chicken
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • Salt
  • Garam masala
  • Coriander

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Build the Base
  2. Fry onion on medium until golden.
  3. Add tomatoes and cook until they fully melt.
  4. Step 2: Add Chicken
  5. Stir chicken into the base.
  6. Cook until lightly sealed.
  7. Step 3: Add Spices
  8. Add turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, salt.
  9. Cook 2 minutes until spices bloom.
  10. Step 4: Add Yogurt
  11. Lower heat.
  12. Add yogurt slowly while stirring to prevent curdling.
  13. Step 5: Cook Down
  14. Cover and cook 20–25 minutes on low until chicken becomes tender.
  15. Step 6: Finish
  16. Add garam masala.
  17. Garnish with coriander.
