Step 1: Preheat & Prepare Pan
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and lightly dust with flour or line with parchment paper.
Step 2: Mash Bananas
In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until mostly smooth.
Add melted butter and mix gently.
Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients
Stir in the brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
Step 4: Add Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture. Do not overmix.
Step 5: Add Optional Extras
Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if using.
Step 6: Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 7: Cool & Serve
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes.
Remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
